Wondering where I've been??

It has been a crazy month, and it's almost June already!!!  May has been a month of highs and celebrations also lows that have been emotionally exhausting.  I will try and keep the stories brief so ya'll don't get bored or fall asleep :o)

**Medifast (my WL program) has been for me sooooo successful. I am continuing to lose weight every week. between 3-4 lbs per week.  To date, I have lost 89 lbs and 43 inches total!  I still need to update my measurements this month and I know I have lost more inches.  I am now starting to buy new clothing. Nothing expensive or extravagent, but I had to buy new pants. They kept falling off!! One day,  one of my daycare kids tried to stand up from a crawl, pulled up on my leg and preceeded to pull on my pants down!!!  lol
So... I used to wear a sz. 22/24 pant, I now wear a 16! Tops/blouses & dresses, used to wear a sz. 22/24:3x/4x to sz 18:XL!  So excited. This is the best I have felt healthwise in years.
Just one quick story...8 mos. ago, Nelson and  I went to Chili's for lunch. The hostess wanted to sit us at a booth. I went to sit down and I couldn't even fit behind the table. I told her then we would need a table instead. I was completely mortified. Of course I stuffed my face to push down the pain. (stupid) Last night, We went to Chili's for dinner and we walked by the table that I couldn't sit behind 8 mos. ago. I stopped, looked at the table and slid in with ease and room to spare behind the table! Nelson's face lit up and I started to cry happy tears.  Such a sense of accomplishment that I haven't felt in so long.

***Dad's health is deteriorating. He refuses to take his issues seriously. He has a grocery list of issues and medications to back it up. I had a "Coming to Jesus' talk with him a month ago. I felt it went in one ear and out the other.  2 wks ago, Dad was out at Avila Bch (his and Betty's 2nd home) and Dad ran his motorized scooter into a hole and it flipped Him to the ground. Dad can't walk without assistance, so He could not get up off the ground. It took 5 people to pick Him up. An ambulance took him to the Hospital in San Luis Obispo and He had a wonderful Dr. caring for him. It was a blessing because they diagonsed him w/ Pneumonia and a Blod Clot in his heart. It's a long story and He was in the Hospital for a week. Now, we found Him a new Cardio Dr. in Santa Barbara and He sees him today. Don't know where He will go from here.

***Daycare has been full of amazing firsts and sad goodbyes. Also, so many teachable moments that I have had with the kids. At the time I wonder if they got it...understand it. Then, when I get calls from the parents or the kids respond to my leading, it is such bliss! Makes my heart sing!

To close,  something to pray about for me.  I am working on a new (another) business concept that will work along side my Daycare biz.  Please pray for wisdom for me and and the creativity to flow for my vision to come alive. It's really exciting for me and I can't wait to share it with all of you.

Enjoy your weekend.
